The cost depends on the size and materials - usually pine frames with sturdy mdf boards slotted into the frames - not back fitted as in the picture framing style of cheaper versions. |

are so many varieties of chalkboard that it is easiest to discuss the
precise needs with the customer and then produce exactly what is
required. Shabby Chic boards are a real investment and some made over ten years ago and in daily use are still going strong and have never needed repainting. MANY TYPES OF BOARD
On the left is an example of a board sign-written and with painted design by hand. This is is 'permanent' chalk type paint. The black area is for normal chalked information easily cleaned off and replaced. On the right is one of a series of framed black boards with easels which I supplied to a Sweet Shop chain for their daily special offers. |

The most popular size for Pubs and Restaurants is 50 x 75 cm (20 x 30 inches). The blackboard itself is given three coats of top quality blackboard paint for long life. The jointed pine frame can be coloured as required or plain varnished.
